Current Crush: Adore Me Swimwear

Now I don’t want to jinx it, but Summer 2016 has been pretty amazing weather as far as England is concerned…Best believe everyone has been making the most of the sizzling summer and when it comes to swimwear it’s clear to see that the one piece swimsuit has made a big comeback! After laying low for quite a few years this Summer the shops are filled with an array of beautifully patterned and shaped swimsuits.

Whilst browsing online I found an American based lingerie site Adore Me . It’s members only but to sign up is completely free and you just need your email address. In sizes xs – 3x this will definitely be my go to for swimwear this Summer and for many to come; with beautiful prints and silhouettes to suit all body shapes, I’m glad I found this gem!

I’ve have browsed and picked out a few of my favs so you don’t have to! I’ve also added some accessories and given some style advice alongside them to keep you looking at the top of your beach and poolside game.

The ‘Krista’

I had to start with this stunning one piece as it’s my favourite. I love the mesh panelling, it really accentuates and flatters the curves of your body and it’s right on trend this season. I’ve created this look with a party holiday destination in mind and you can never go wrong with a black swimsuit and this one is only $39.95 in the sale! I’ve teamed it with a simple black suede choker (River Island, £6) and a colourful beaded cross body bag (Boohoo, £12.)

From black to white, this gorgeous strappy one piece is perfect for a picturesque beach day in Greece. Team with heeled tan wedges (New Look, £18) and animal print shades (Topshop, £20) and you’ve got an minimal and effortless but chic beach look.

Last but certainly not least is this amazing halter print swimsuit. I love the colours and print on this number! I love the black boning and the unique u shaped neckline. Only $49.95 it also has a removable halter strap to turn it into a bandeau one piece. Paired with a gorgeous oversized straw hat (ASOS, £18) and a straw cross body duffle bag (New Look at ASOS, £17.99.)

Cannes Spotlight on: Cafe Society

As promised I will be delivering daily segments on the films I am most buzzed about that have premiered at Cannes Film Festival 2016! Something a little different from the usual on my blog 🙂

The definition of cafe society is a society of persons who are regular patrons of fashionable cafes. Directed by the uber talent Woody Allen and starring Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart and Steve Carell. The opening film for Cannes Film Festival is set in New York in the 1930’s following the life of Bobby Dorfman as he moves to Hollywood in search of a better career and lifestyle and winds up finding it both with the gorgeous Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart. Cafe Society takes you back to a time some bars and clubs in Manhattan truly were very exclusive. It’s had great reviews so far claiming it is a ‘charming and intelligent’ movie and ghas gained a 7.1/10 rating on IMDB ( .) It set for release on the 15th July in the US, no UK date has been given yet. So keep an eye out for that if you’re interested!

February Wishlist!

As the new month starts and January flashes before our eyes, I felt it was fitting for me to share my February wishlist with you! Spring is around the corner and I can’t tell you how excited I am. Spring is such a beautiful time and it means I’m that one step closer Summer. So here’s a quick round up of what I’m wishing for this frightfully cold Feb!

Vila Oversized Shirt – ASOS – £35
Caroline Peep toe shoe – Boohoo – £28

This Winter I’m lusting over over sized pieces and laced shoes, so these two minimalist pieces are a must have for my Winter to Spring wardrobe!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation – Boots – £9.99
The Green Balm- – £12.50

So the past month or so I’ve been suffering with terrible dry skin due to the dreaded British winter. I never usually suffer too badly but I definitely need to take some extra skincare measures this month, so The Green Balm will 100% end up in my makeup bag this month! And the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation is well overdue for it’s trial run with me as I’ve heard its amazing!

And finally the past few months have been sooo busy for me, with jetting off to America to work, being in my final year of university and starting work on a massive tv show, that I’ve neglected to take proper care of my mind and body and quite frankly I think this book could really help me get it together! (One can hope…)

Get Your Sh*t Together hardback – ASOS – £6.99

As always peace and love

Winter into Spring

Spring’s here! And its looking set to be a pretty warm one already!

And one of the hardest things to get right is what to wear in those awkward weeks that we transition from Winter to Spring. When the weather isn’t really quite sure on itself. (But then again in England, when is it ever!?) Here’s an ootd post I put together for a casual,  sunny spring day! 🙂

I teamed the sheer oversized top with a leather jacket as it’s still quite chilly and it works well with the cutout boots to give the look a slightly edgier feel.

Glamorous Oversize T-shirt in Sheer Daisy Jersey-  ASOS- £18.00

Black Jersey Leggings- Miss Selfridge- £14.00

Black Chunky Buckle Cut Out Boots- River Island- £35.00

Black Faux Leather Jacket- New Look

I kept my makeup simple with a bold matte lip. I used Illamaqua’s matte lipstick in colour ‘Scandal.’ Which is one of my favourite Illamasqua lip colours to date, a gorgeous shade of pink! And for a dewy glow and added definition I applied Benefit’s ‘High Beam’ to the corners of my eyes, under my brows and above my cheekbones.

Happy Spring bloggers!
